TWO NEW FACES ON QAHN BOARD

sandi.beebe_.pngNewly elected QAHN directors Sandi Beebe and Michèle Thibeau are not strangers to the organization. Both are long-time colleagues with a keen interest in the English-speaking heritage and history of Quebec.

Sandi Beebe is a native of New Carlisle on Chaleur Bay in the Gaspé. A retired teacher, Sandi has worked with QAHN on a number of projects over the past two decades, most often in her capacity as a director, employee or volunteer at Heritage New Carlisle’s Kempffer House. Sandi has been a volunteer with several organizations, including Family Ties, the Site historique national du Banc de pêche in Paspébiac, and most recently the newly formed Neighbours in Solidarity.

Michèle Thibeau is originally from Nova Scotia and grew up speaking both French and English. She currently works for CEDEC and is a former journalist with Quebec City’s English-language newspaper the Quebec Chronicle Telegraph. Michèle is a long-time member and supporter of QAHN and has attended a number of QAHN events over the years. She resides in Charlesbourg, a suburb of Quebec City.
