RE: "You are Driving on Sacred Ground," by Judith Schurman

Judith Schurman in her recent article quotes something I wrote in an article written back in the 1980's referring to the Irish Memorial Sone as the Black Rock. I've been noticing for some years now that the memorial stone is being referred to in various books and articles as the Black Rock but I was the one who first originated it, a dramatic phrase, that help put the tragic history of the Irish Famine of 1847 into mainstream public knowledge. It is something I'm proud of.

Thanks to Judith Schurman for giving me credit.
