Dear Friends,

Last April QAHN held a very successful Wine & Cheese evening in the Côte-des-Neiges area. About 50 people gathered to network and find out about some of QAHN’s latest projects. Good news! We’re planning another event for 2015, and we’re very much hoping that you will be able to join us.

The Wine & Cheese, held in collaboration with the Black Community Resource Centre, was a great success, beginning with the venue: “Le 6767,” with its top-floor views of the Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood and Mount Royal beyond, was a wonderful spot to sample some great food, chat with old friends and make new contacts. We feel we met our objective: to bring people together from different backgrounds and specialties but with a common interest in exploring Montreal’s heritage. To judge by how many of you told us what a great time you had, we figured it would be worth doing again.

Right now we’re aiming to hold our 2nd Annual Wine & Cheese in April 2015. We’re starting to work out themes and put together some interesting people in the field of history and heritage whom we think you’ll want to meet. Stay tuned for more details!

With best wishes,

Simon Jacobs
