The Montreal Classic Boat Festival takes place in the Old Port of Montreal every August. This famous maritime city, which is so renowned for its music festivals, can be proud to hold this urban maritime event with a unique French twist! The third edition will be held from August 19 to 21, 2011.
As much as Montreal benefits from its glorious maritime past, the city's maritime image needed a fresh look! The Montreal Classic Boat Festival thrives on this new image.
In addition to promoting the nautical tourism and maritime routes of the Lachine Canal and the St. Lawrence River, by attracting boat owners to Montreal to show off their boats, the MCBF puts a lot of effort into attracting local and international classic boat builders promoting the excellence of their work, but more importantly, into enhancing the trends of classic boats to neophytes.
